Parent Liaisons from NHCS ESL informtion

  • Purpose: to have effective communication with the parent and school staff

  • Who: a bilingual individual who ensures parents have access to information, services, and the support to ensure their child's academic and social success

  • When needed: Enrolling, filling out forms, giving school tours, explaining programs and resources available to the parents and child, answering questions about school rules and policies, arranging parent/teacher conferences, IEP meetings, MTSS meetings, mental health evaluations, home visits, screenings, emergency communications, and attending open house nights

  • AHS parent liaisons:

  • For other languages, please make and appointment with Mrs. Black 

  • Translations for official school documents are available.  Allow for a two week period.  Refer to http://www.nhcs.net/ESLParentLiaisons/TranslationRequest/translationrequest.htm
